It doesn’t matter which statement describes you. All of them have the same effect. You’re here and what you want is there. This can cause frustration, paralysis, apathy, or a high consumption of youtube videos, usually related to pets, not the goal.
Closing the gap between what you have and what you want can feel impossible. It’s not. There are many strategies proven to help you achieve the goal: Focus on one thing at a time. Meditate. Find like-minded people. Be consistent. Journal. Any of these will help.
But there’s one strategy that’s more effective, more liberating, and more empowering. It’s not a universally accepted technique. It feels wrong. It’s hard for women to do. It’s the key to open any door.
In this video, I feature Brogues, a Berlin-based creative, who epitomizes this strategy -and reveals it. She is the physical manifestation of what life can be when you stop holding yourself back. She is my favorite unicorn.
