You made it possible

You made it possible

What a season! I injured my achilles, tore my hamstring, and stopped running for four months. It’s a miracle I didn’t go crazy. Or did I?

I didn’t but I thought about it. What kept me going was my faith and my friends. Without those two, I’d be a buffalo on the roof shooting peas to the wind. I never would have made it to the Toyota U.S. Open Triathlon without the good people in my life.

For those that thought about me, prayed for me, messaged me, and encouraged me, I thank you. For those who gave generous donations, attended the yoga event, cooked me dinner, wrote me cards, gave me balloons, and told me to stop freaking out, I thank you.

I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. I love you something awful.
